I thought long and hard about whether the peaceful green surrounds i'm getting used to are really worth all of the long silences i'm having to endure. Not a single siren or flicker of urban music . No foreign languages being spoken around me as i traveled to or from work. No
"mind the gap", no phone reception. Just me, my brushes , some other farm houses in the distance and some orange paint..

So.. with the lack of distraction or entertainment i actually achieved quite alot.
which means that yes, the silence is golden once you get past the darkness of your own thoughts!!!
